ALMA ALLEN HUGHES
Alma Allen Hughes, 57, of 501 10th Ave. died Friday, Au
gust 11, 2000 at 
Palmyra Medical Centers.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Mathews Oaklawn Chapel Funeral 
Home with burial in Poulan City Cemetary.  Elder Billy Latham will 
officiate.
A native of Columbus, Mrs. Hughes had resided in Albany all of her adult 
life.  She was a homemaker and formerly worked in testiles as a spooler. 
 She was of the Protestant faith.
survivors include her husband, gordon W. Hughes of Albany; three sons, 
Gordon Howard Hughes, Harold Hughes and Larry Scott Hughes, all of 
Albany, two brothers, David Allen of Leesburg and Gene Allen of 
Jacksonville, Fla; a sister, Ida Floyd of Pensacola, Fla.; and four 
grandchildren, Bo Hughes, Max Hughes, Sonya Hughes and Sara Hughes.
Visitation will be 3 p.m. - 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
