Estelle Stuart Allen

FORSYTH — Estelle Stuart Allen, 86, died Friday, January 10, 2003. Graveside 
services will be 2 p.m. today (Sunday) at Monroe Memorial Gardens with the Rev. 
John Pennington officiating.

Mrs. Allen was born in Monroe County. She was the widow of Albert Franklin 
Allen and the daughter of the late William Stuart and Pearl Kay Hobbs Stuart. 
Mrs. Allen was preceded in death by a son, Franklin Allen. She was a homemaker 
and retired from the William Carter Company. Mrs. Allen was a member of the 
First Baptist Church in Forsyth.

Mrs. Allen is survived by a son, William Wiley Allen of Albany; daughter-in-
law, Marian Smith Allen of Forsyth; and five grandchildren, seven great-
grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Forsyth, 95 W. Morse St., 
Forsyth, GA 31029.
