Cedric C. Austin

ALBANY — Cedric C. Austin, 84, died Monday, February 10, 2003, at Palmyra 
Nursing Home.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday 2 PM at Kimbrell-Stern with 
interment in Floral Memory Gardens. The Rev. Rayford Bowman and the Rev. John 
Tarrer will officiate.

A native of Dothan, AL, Mr. Austin had lived in Albany for the past 39 years. 
He retired from the United States Air Force and also worked at Jamison 
Manufacturing for many years. Mr. Austin was a member of Byne Memorial Baptist 
Church and the Brothers in Christ Sunday School Class.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth L. Austin of Albany; a stepdaughter, Barbara 
Loper and her husband, Lamar of Ashburn; a stepson, Ernest "Buddy" Whiddon Jr. 
and his wife, Betsy of Lanette, AL; a brother, John Austin and his wife, Helen 
of Dothan, AL; five step grandchildren and four step great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the residence.
