Date of Death: December 19, 2005  

Jacqueline B. Ayers, 74, of Albany, died Monday, December 19, 2005 in 
Fernandina Beach, FL. The funeral service will be at 10 AM Thursday at Kimbrell-
Stern Funeral Directors with interment to follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. Rev. 
Tony Haefs will officiate. 

A native of Selma, AL, Mrs. Ayers had lived in Albany since 1954. She was a 
member of Sherwood Baptist Church, the Golden Key Club and a past member of 
Albany Garden Club. Mrs. Ayers retired from the Albany Driver Improvement 
Clinic where she served as the Executive Officer. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Gibbs Ayers. Mrs. Ayers is 
survived by a son, J. Terry Murphy of Fernandina Beach, FL; two grandchildren: 
Sabrina Lynn Hammond and her husband Mike, and Victoria B. Murphy; two great-
grandchildren: Ashley Hammond and Jacob Hammond; and two nieces. 

The family will receive friends at Kimbrell-Stern on Wednesday from 5 PM until
