Mark McKinley Ballew

ALBANY — Mark McKinley Ballew, 81, of Albany passed away Christmas Day, 
December 25, 2002, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.

The funeral service will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Hall & Hall Chapel with 
interment at Floral Memory Gardens.

Mr. Ballew was a native of Ellistown, TN, and had lived in Albany since 1939. 
He served in the United States Navy. He was employed by Merts Equipment Co. for 
a number of years and after retirement he worked with his son's law firm, M. 
Stan Ballew, P.C. as an investigator.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Mary E. Ballew of Albany; two sons, M. 
Stan Ballew of Tifton and Keith Ballew of Phoenix, AZ; daughter, Shirlann 
Ballew Rich of Albany; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
