Kimbrell Stern Funeral Home Announcements - 2006
Mary M. Barfield, 73 (Sept. 24,1932), formerly of Lakeshore Dr. in Albany, died 
Sunday, March 5, 2006 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital following an illness. 
Her funeral service will be TUESDAY 11 AM at Kimbrell-Stern with interment to 
follow at Crown Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Lester Allen will officiate. 

A native and life-long resident of Albany, Mrs. Barfield was a Baptist and 
attended Bible Baptist Church. She was a avid poetry writer, and won a contest 
for her poetry. She was preceded in death by her husband George A. Barfield, 
Sr. Survivors include two sons: Andy Barfield and his wife Becky, Albany, and 
Randy Barfield and his wife Cissy, DeFuniak Springs, FL; 4 grandchildren: Jesse 
Barfield, Ceely Anne Barfield, Mary Rebecca Barfield, and Clayton Brannon. The 
family will receive friends at Kimbrell-Stern Monday from 6-7:30 PM. Those 
desiring may send memorials to the American Heart Association, P. O. Box 1923, 
Albany, GA 31702.
