Date of Death: December 03, 2005  

Mrs. Mattie Ruth Shattles Beasley, 78, of Blakely, died Saturday, December 3, 
2005 at Miller County Hospital. Her funeral service will be Tuesday 3 PM at 
Kimbrell-Stern with interment in Crown Hill Cemetery. Rev Mick Garner 
officiating. 

A native of Roberta Mrs. Beasley had lived in Albany for a number of years 
before moving to Blakely. She was retired from Coats and Clark. Her husband 
Marshall E. Beasley preceded her in death. Survivors include her daughter Sarah 
Beasley, Blakely, a sister Valle Cutchins, Climax, sisters in law Verda Me 
Anderson, Dora Mae Beasley and a host of nieces and nephews. The family will 
receive friends Monday 6 to 8 PM at Kimbrell-Stern.
