Catherine Smith Bonner 

ALBANY — Catherine Smith Bonner, 81, of Sunny Ln., died Wednesday, June 27, 
2007 at her residence. 

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church, 
with burial to follow in Floral Memory Garden Cemetery. The Revs. Walter Ingram 
and Miller Lee Harris officiating. 

Born on December 7, 1925 in Early County, GA, Mrs. Bonner was a homemaker and a 
graduate of Early County Public Schools. She was a member of Union Grove 
Baptist Church, where she was the Mother of the Church, a Sunday School Teacher 
and Mission Secretary. 

Survivors include her husband, Johnny B. Bonner of Albany; one daughter, 
Bernice Thomas of Albany; one son, W.C. Adams of Atlanta; two sisters, Juanita 
and the Rev. Lee Leonard of Stuart, FL, and Pauline Jefferson of Miami, FL; two 
brothers, Willie B. and Millie Smith of Blakely, and Ulysses Smith of Miami; 
and one grandchildren and six great- grandchildren. 

Visitation will be held at the church of the service on Tuesday from 10 a.m. 
until the funeral hour.
