Joan Lee Bridges

MORGAN — Joan Lee Bridges, 72, of Main Street, Morgan, died Sunday, January 12, 
2003, at her residence.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. today in Morgan Methodist Cemetery. 
The Rev. Jackie Williams will officiate.

Mrs. Bridges was born August 8, 1930, in Clay County. She had lived in Calhoun 
County most of her life. She was retired from the Department of Family and 
Children Services. She was a member of Morgan Baptist Church. Mrs. Bridges was 
a member of the Willing Workers Sunday School class and the Baptist Women of 
Morgan Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Lester McNair of 
Edison and Brenda and Alan Long of Albany; two sisters, Earline Vann and 
Carolyn Brunner, both of Edison; one brother, Bill Lee of Cocoa Beach, Fla.; 
two grandsons, Lee and Cole McNair of Edison.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Reuben Cole Bridges and parents, Earl 
and Estelle Parker Lee.

In lieu of flowers, the family wants donations to be made to Morgan Baptist 
Church or to The Albany Hospice, P.O. Box 1828, Albany, GA 31703.
