Lillian Irene Calhoun

COLQUITT — Lillian Irene Calhoun, 94, of Colquitt, died Sunday, December 1, 
2002, at Miller County Hospital.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. today at Cooks Union Methodist Church with 
interment in Cooks Union Cemetery. The Rev. Floyd Mitchell will officiate.

The active pallbearers will be Johnny Hilburn, R.D. Franklin, Sean Kelley, 
Ronnie Boyd, Charles Brown and Maurice Chapman.

A native of Miller County, Mrs. Calhoun was born September 11, 1908. She was a 
retired farmer and a member of Cooks Union Methodist Church. She was preceded 
in death by her husband, W.R. "Wright" Calhoun; a brother, Buford K. Kelly; and 
a sister, Rucelle Kelley Cook.

Survivors include two nieces, Evelyn Cook of Colquitt and Lynda Boyd of Lake 
Hamilton, FL; a nephew, John Edwin Kelley of Milton, FL; and a sister-in-law, 
Johnnie Kelley of Colquitt.
