William H. Calhoun

COLQUITT — William Howell "Willie" Calhoun, 79, of Colquitt, died Friday, 
January 24, 2003 at his residence.

A graveside funeral service will be held today (Sunday) 2 p.m., in Notchaway 
Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Talmadge Worlsey officiating.

Born January 29, 1923 in Miller County, Mr. Calhoun was former owner of Automat 
Printers and Calhoun's Grocery, both in Colquitt. He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife, Wadene Calhoun of Colquitt; four sons and three 
daughters-in-law, Tommy and Nuris Calhoun of Lakeland, FL, Mark Calhoun, Jerry 
and Sharon Calhoun, all of Colquitt and Bobby and Rhonda Calhoun of Bainbridge; 
and seven grandchildren, Airman First Class Brian Calhoun, Private First Class 
Billy Calhoun, Bonnie Calhoun, Julie Calhoun, Matt Calhoun, Bobby Calhoun and 
Chris Calhoun.
