Date of Death: January 12, 2007

The graveside funeral service of Willie Calhoun, 80, of 2511 Imperial Street, 
who died Friday January 12, 2007 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, will be 
conducted Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Poulan City Cemetery. Rev. Clifton Elmore 
will officiate. 

A native of Worth Co., GA., Mr. Calhoun had resided in Albany a number of 
years. He had worked with the City of Albany and was the manager of the Bay 
Service Station before retirement. He was a WW II Army veteran and was of the 
Baptist faith. 

Survivors include a son, William ( Buddy ) Calhoun, Rochelle, GA., four 
daughters, Tina McCubbins and Marie Parker both of Albany, GA., Elizabeth 
Abbott, Doerun, GA., Jeanette Miller, Leesburg, GA., twenty six grandchildren, 
forty one great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
