Elizabeth Yarbrough Carr

SYLVESTER — Elizabeth Yarbrough Carr, 74, of Lakeview Drive, Sylvester, died 
Monday, October 21, 2002, at her residence.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Northside Baptist Church with 
interment in Hillcrest Cemetery. The Rev. Jerry Cooper and the Rev. Jimmy 
Voyles will officiate.

A native of Turner County, Mrs. Carr had lived in Worth County since 1962. She 
was formerly employed with Suburban Manufacturing Company. She was a member of 
Northside Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Ann Eure of Norman Park and Wanda 
Adams of Sylvester; two sons, Tommy Watley of Columbus and Kenny Carr of 
Dallas, Ga.; one sister, Faye Arnold of Sycamore; three brothers, Herbert 
Yarbrough and Quinton Yarbrough, both of Sycamore, and C.S. Yarbrough of 
Acworth; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great-
grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Carr on July 
22, 2001. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Walter Scott and 
Nellie Lee Dryden Yarbrough.

The family will receive friends today from 7 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
