AMERICUS — Deacon Joseph M. Carter, 73, of 816 Winchester Street, Americus, 
died Tuesday, December 3, 2002, at his residence.

The funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Bethesda Baptist Church in Sumter 
County with interment in Eastview Cemetery in Sumter County.
