Jack Childs

ALBANY — Jack Childs, 70, of Turnkey Circle, Leesburg, died Tuesday, December 
17, 2002, at his residence.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Wooden Grove Baptist Church 
in Leesburg. Burial will follow in Kennon Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Clay 
County. The Rev. Henry Lee Holsey will officiate.

A native of Clay County, Mr. Childs was a member of Wooden Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Yolando Marilyn Atherton Childs of Leesburg; three 
daughters, Jacqueline Yvonne (James) Scott of Hallandale, FL, Cassandra Childs 
and Valarie Childs, both of West Palm Beach, FL; nine sisters, Laura Mae 
Mitchell and Christine Best, both of Chicago, IL, Bernice (Ralph) Mitchell of 
Jacksonville, FL, Lou Ella (Frank) Inman of Hallandale, FL, Hazel C. Bryant, 
Mary Lee Ward, Betty Jean Mitchell and Cherry Mitchell, all of Leesburg, and 
Shaffie B. (AB) Long of Orlando, FL; one brother, Rufus (Amy) Childs of Ft. 
Gaines; one granddaughter, Arnessa Yvonne Green of Hallandale, FL; three 
grandsons, Sean Daniels, D'vante Daniels and Larenz Daniels, and one Godson, 
Omar Phillips, all of Hallandale, FL.
