Clyde, 73, of 3411 Staton Drive, Albany died July 24, 2006 at Kindred Hospital in Atlanta. Funeral service will be Saturday, July 29, 2006 at 3 P.M. at Antioch Baptist Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. George Daniels will officiate. Mr. Clude was born September 16,1932 in Dawson. He was educated in the Terrell County School System, was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church and was retired from the Norfolk Southern Railroad. Survivors include his beloved wife, Juanita Henderson Clyde; children from previous marriage, Diane Clyde Mosley of Smithville, Dell Clyde of Albany, Brenda Clyde of Atlanta, Lorraine Clyde, "J.D. Clyde, Jr., Lavern Davenport Malone, all of Albany and the late Gloria Clyde Darden; one surviving uncle, John Towns; four brothers, Earnest Clyde, Bennie Lee Clyde of Leesburg, Johnny Clyde of Albany, Jimmy Clyde of Cordele; six sisters, Bennie Mae Clyde of Dawson, Annie Clyde, Lizzie Harris of Leesburg, Earnestine Perry, Janice Ohi,Leola Hill, all of Albany; 14 grandchildren; 70 great grandchildren;a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
