Kimbrell Stern - February 10, 2007
Alice Bass Coleman, 87, of 312 E. Culpepper St., Doerun, GA, died Thursday Feb. 
8, 2007 in Moultrie, GA.A native and life long resident of Colquitt County, 
Mrs. Coleman was a member of the Union Baptist Church and retired from civil 
service as a bookkeeper in the repair division. Survivors include a son Larry 
Joe Coleman and his wife Dwala of Moultrie, Ga, a daughter Deborah C. Harrell 
and her husband Laddie of Chesapeake, VA a sister Annie Kate Hortman of 
Moultrie, GA, 3 grandchildren, Mark Coleman, Don Coleman and Buffie Amerian, 4 
great grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband Mose 
Coleman and a son Donald Wayne Coleman. Those desiring may send memorials to 
Union Baptist Church, 2758 Evergreen Rd., Doerun, Ga, 31744.  

The family will receive friends at Kimbrell-Stern Funeral Directors Sunday from 
4 to 6 PM. The funeral service will be held Monday 11 AM at Union Baptist 
Church in Worth County with Rev. Hayward Bass and Rev. Lonnie Gibson 
officiating. Interment will follow in the Church cemetery.
