Bob Steele Cook

COLQUITT — Bob Steele Cook, 67, of Colquitt, died Monday, January 6, 2003, at 
his residence.

The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Cook's Union Methodist Church with 
interment in the church cemetery will full military honors. The Rev. Bill 
Campbell will officiate.

A native of Baker County, Mr. Cook was born December 1, 1935. He was retired 
from the maintenance department of Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany. 
He had retired earlier from the United States Army after 22 years of service. 
He was a Vietnam veteran. Mr. Cook was a member of Kimbrel's Chapel Church of 
God. He was preceded in death by a son, Matthew Cook.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce Cook of Colquitt; son, Mark Cook of Colquitt; 
daughter-in-law, Kathy Cook of Colquitt; two sisters, Frankie Phillips and 
Jeannette Scott, both of Colquitt; four brothers, Sarince Cook Jr., Aubrey 
Cook, Louis Cook, and Terry Cook, all of Colquitt; six grandchildren, Mallory 
Cook, Morgan Cook, Mark Cook II, DeAnna O'Berry, Brittney O'Berry, and Jonathan 
Brown.

A military guard will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be 7 p.m.- 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
