Gene S. Crawford

REBECCA — Services for Gene S. Crawford, age 74, of S. Academy Street, Rebecca, 
GA, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday morning at the Rebecca United Methodist 
Church with burial to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Ashburn, GA. Mr. Crawford 
died Thurday, November 7, 2002, at his residence after a long illness.

Mr. Crawford was a native and lifelong resident of Turner County, GA., the son 
of the late Hollis Arnold and Polly Marjorie Stallings Crawford. He was a 
member of the Rebecca United Methodist Church and was a cattleman. He was 
founding director of Community National Bank, and a member of the Ocmulgee 
Cattleman's Association.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley I. Crawford of Rebecca; two children, Scott 
Crawford and Phillip and Melissa Crawford, all of Rebecca; brother, Arnold 
Crawford Jr. of Rochelle; three grandchildren, Erica Crawford, Tanner Crawford, 
and Chandler Crawford, all of Rebecca.

Visitation will be 6 p.m.- 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
