The funeral service of William Thomas Curlee, Sr., 75, of Crescent Dr., who 
died Thursday March 1, 2007 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital will be 
conducted  Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Minister Greg Wakefield 
will officiate.

A native of Salisbury, NC, Mr. Curlee had resided in Albany since 1964 moving 
here from Washington State. Before retirement Mr. Curlee was the owner/operator 
of his electrical supply business and was a veteran of the Korean War and 
Vietnam War serving in the Air Force. He was a member of the Air Force 
Sergeants Association, VFW, DAV and the Woodmen of the World. He was of the 
Baptist faith and was preceded in death by a son, William Thomas (Bill) Curlee, 
Jr.

Survivors include his wife, Ruby Jane Moore Curlee, a son, Larry K. Curlee, Sr. 
and his wife, Angie, a daughter, Debbie Curlee Usry and her husband Brad,, 
daughter-in-law, Pat Curlee, all of Albany, GA  two sisters, Rae Craven, 
Camden, SC and Kitty Culpepper, Chesapeake, VA, eight grandchildren, Nikkie 
Curlee, Kenny Curlee, Jade Hidalgo, Josh Usry, Tim Ellis, Mark Ellis, Stacy 
Suarez, Keith Ellis and four great-grandchildren.
