The memorial service of William P. ( Billy ) Daniel, 59, of Albany who died 
Monday August 6, 2007 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital will be conducted 
Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. 

A native and life long resident of Albany, Mr. Daniel was a general contractor 
primarily in commercial building. He was a Vietnam veteran serving in the Army 
in the Green Beret  paratrooper special forces division and a recipient of the 
Bronze Star Medal, a member of the Moose Lodge, a former member of the 
Dougherty County Home Builders Assoc. and attended Eager Avenue Grace Church. 
He was preceded in death by his parents, James H. Daniel, Sr. and Mary Lee 
Spinks Daniel and a brother, James H. Daniel, Jr. 

Survivors include three sons,George Richard Daniel, Senoia, GA., Brett Luke 
Daniel, Albany, GA. and William Drew Daniel, Hinsdale, IL., two brothers, Lee 
Daniel and his wife, Mona, Sulphur Springs, TX., Bobby Daniel, St. Charles, 
MO., three sisters, Martha Daniel Jones, Albany, GA., Sue Voltz and her husband 
Chuck, Pelham, GA., Jean Daniel Aker and her husband, Pete, Albany, GA., and 
three grandchildren.
