Angus Lamar Daniel Sr.

DAWSON — Angus Lamar Daniel Sr., 82, died Friday, January 17, 2003, at the 
Veterans Administration Hospital in Dublin. The funeral service will be held at 
3 p.m. today at the graveside in Arlington Cemetery with the Rev. Wallace 
Willis officiating.

Mr. Daniel was a native of Calhoun County, born February 20, 1920, son of the 
late John Green Daniel and Evelyn Layton Daniel. He served in the U.S. Navy 
during WW II and was a retired farmer and lived in Calhoun and Terrell Counties 
most of his life.

Survivors include two sons, Lamar Daniel of Dawson and Larry Daniel of 
LaGrange; three grandchildren, Lee Daniel of Albany, Scott Daniel of Dawson and 
Shane Daniel of Dothan, AL; a brother, Curren Daniel of Morgan; a sister, 
Frances D. Sutterland of Minneapolis, MN; four great-grandchildren, Abigail and 
Reid Daniel of Albany, Lane and Laiken Daniel of Dawson.

Memorials may be made to the Terrell Co. V.F.W. Post, c/o William Bruenner, 
Treasurer, 3670 Veney Mill Road, Dawson, GA 39842.
