Jacob Kenneth Davis

LEESBURG — The funeral service Jacob Kenneth Davis, 13, of Lovers Lane Road, 
Leesburg, who died Saturday, November 9, 2002 at his residence, will be 
conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Lakeside Baptist Church. The Rev. Ken 
Chancellor will officiate. Interment will follow in Leesburg Cemetery.

Jacob was born in Albany and had resided in Leesburg and attended Lakeside 
Baptist Church.

Survivors include his parents, Bill and Karen Davis of Leesburg; one brother, 
Bert Davis of Macon; three sisters, Sherilyn Burris of Tallahassee, FL, Kaitlyn 
Howland of Temple and Carmen Davis Barlett of Albany; maternal grandparents, 
Kenneth and Shirley Burris of Kennesaw. He was preceded in death by his 
paternal grandparents, Robert and Rosa Davis of Ashburn.

The family will receive friends today (Monday) from 7 p.m.-9 p.m. at Mathews 
Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make memorials to Albany 
Rescue Mission, 616 W. Roosevelt Ave., Albany, GA 31701 or Lakeside Baptist 
Church, 2806 N. Jefferson St., Albany, GA 31701.
