Barry Vernon Day

ALBANY — Barry Vernon Day, 53, of Jones Street, Albany, died Sunday, December 
15, 2002, at Palmyra Medical Centers in Albany.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Bethel A.M.E. Church with interment 
in Riverside Cemetery. The Rev. Ernest Davis will officiate.

A native of Durham, N.C., Mr. Day attended the public schools of Dougherty 
County and was a member of Bethel A.M.E. Church.

Survivors include a devoted wife, Irene Day; stepson, Henry Rachel; father, 
Robert Day of Durham, N.C.; brothers, Lafayette Adams, Larry Day (Dorothy), 
Dwight Day, Gary Day, Roderick Day and Maurice Adams of Baltimore, Md.; two 
sisters, Gwendolyn Day Henderson (Willie) and Valerie Day; five step 
grandchildren; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 6 p.m.-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
