Exa Owen Donahoo 

SYCAMORE — Exa Owen Donahoo, 94, of Sycamore, GA, died Friday, July 6, 2007, at 
Ashburn Health Care following an extended illness. 

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. today at Bethel Baptist Church with 
interment in Prospect Cemetery. 

The daughter of the late George A. and Marietta Owen, she was born in Turner 
County. She was the widow of Leon Donahoo, Sr. to whom she had been married to 
for 62 years before his death in 1999. She resided in Turner County all of her 
life and was a devoted wife and mother. She was a former public school teacher 
who taught primary grades in the Turner County School System for twenty-two 
years. She attended Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College and Georgia Southern 
College for Women. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church where she served 
as a former Sunday School teacher. 

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by four 
sisters and two brothers. 

She is survived by one son, Leon Donahoo, Jr. of Sycamore; one sister-in-law, 
Vera Owen of Crestview, FL, and several nieces and nephews.
