Henry C. Ethridge

BAINBRIDGE — Henry C. Ethridge, 80, of Eldorendo died Thursday, January 16, 
2003, in Bainbridge.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Eldorendo Baptist Church in Eldorendo 
with interment in the church cemetery.

Mr. Ethridge was born November 7, 1922, in Houston County, AL, the son of 
Clifford Eugene Ethridge and Alma Pate Ethridge. He was a U.S. Army veteran of 
World War II, a retired pattern maker for Miller Hydro Co., and a member of 
Eldorendo Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Irene Ethridge of Eldorendo; two sons, Jerry 
Ethridge of Tallahassee, Fla., and Cleve Ward of Climax; three daughters, 
Connie Sue Faircloth of Albany, Janice Brewer of Dothan, Ala., and Paula 
Simmons of Donalsonville; nine grandchildren, Mark Faircloth of Albany, Laura 
Ethridge of Valdosta, Candi Brewer of Colquitt, Karen Trawick of Dothan, Ala., 
Rhonda Cordle of Dothan, Ala., Dana Pritchard of Dothan, Ala., Jarrett Simmons 
of Atlanta, Jessica Ward of Climax, and Melissa Ward of Climax; and six great-
grandchildren.
