O. Watson, died at her home on Broad Street, Saturday afternoon at 5:55 o'clock. Gastritis was the cause of Mrs. Watson's death, and she had been a sufferer from this disease for about three months prior to her death. For a week before her death Mrs. Watson's condition was critical and allowed to her dear ones but little hope for her recovery. For several days she remained right at death's door and each hour, it seemed, would be her last. The best treatment of skilled physicians and the most thoughtful attention of loving relatives and friends were given to no avail, and breath left her mortal remains at the hour above stated. Mrs. Watson was 38 years old and leaves her husband, Mr. W. O. Watson, two children, Miss Stella Askin and Mr. Addison Askin, and other more distant relatives to mourn her sad and untimely demise. Mrs. Watson was a woman of loving and lovable disposition, and was the possessor of a beautiful Christian character that won for her the esteem and admiration of all who knew her. She was a loving wife, a fond mother and a kind friend. Mrs. Watson was a member of the Methodist Church and was a zealous and earnest Christian. Her death was a sad blow to her family and the Herald joins their large circle of friends in extending it's sympathy. The remains were carried to Barnesville yesterday and were interred thee yesterday afternoon. They were accompanied to their place of burial by the husband and two children of the deceased and Rev. W. F. Smith, pastor of the Methodist Church, who conducted the funeral ceremony.
