Aug 3, 1940 "Mr. N. F. Dugan Dies Suddenly" "Sixty-Eight-Year-Old Albanian Succumbs to Heart Attack." Mr. N. F. Dugan, 68, died suddenly as the result of a heart attack this morning at his home 429 Seventh Avenue. He had resided in Albany 28 years, and had numerous friends who were shocked to learn of his death. Born in Donegal, Ireland, October 16, 1871, Mr. Dugan had lived in the United States 55 years. He is survived by one brother, Mr. Pat Dugan of Donegal, Ireland, one nephew, Daniel Dugan of Albany, niece, Mrs. W. M. Vickers of Albany and several other nephews and nieces in Ireland. The funeral will be held in St. Theresa's Catholic Church Wednesday morning at 9:30 o'clock. The service will be conducted by the Rev. James E. Daughtry. Interment will follow in The Crown Hill Cemetery. The following pall bearers are requested to meet at the Ivey Funeral Home tomorrow morning at 9 o'clock: Messrs. R. E. McCormick, Garrett Fleming, Andrew Mooney, Dan Brosnan, John Brosnan and D. W. Brosnan.
