Mrs. V.F. Finger  -   Albany Herald - passed away 10/26/1936

Mrs. V.F. Finger, 41, died at the Phoebe Putney Memorial hospital Tuesday Morning at 3
o’clock after having been ill seven weeks.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Finger is survived by six children, Florence, Robert, Mary,
Luther, Virginia and Della May, and two sisters, Mrs. J.H. Whittington, of Albany and
Mrs. J.C. Knight of Ashland, AL.
The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at 4 o’clock in the chapel of the Albany
Undertaking Company.  The service will be conducted by the Rev. J.S. Winn, pastor of
the Byne Memorial Baptist Church.  Internment will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.
The following will be pall bearers:  Messrs. S.R. Bolton, H.P. Finger, H.P. Finger, Jr.,
Hoke Wallace, Jack Hautman and George Cravey.
Mrs. Finger had many friends in Albany and news of her death has brought wide-spread
sorrow.  She had a sweet, fine disposition which endeared her to those who knew her.
