Hazel Edwards Flowers 

ALBANY — Hazel Edwards Flowers, 85, of Albany died Monday, September 3, 2007, 
at Palmyra Nursing Home. 

Her funeral service will be Friday 11 AM at Evergreen Cemetery in Worth County. 
Pastor Stan Glass will officiate. 

A native of Mitchell County, Mrs. Flowers lived in Albany most of her life. She 
was a member of Hinsonton Baptist Church, Hinsonton, Mitchell County, Georgia. 
She was preceded in death by her husband: Ronald M. Flowers, and by a brother, 
James Edwards. 

Mrs. Flowers is survived by her two sons: Ronnie Flowers and his wife, Donna of 
Leesburg, and Bobby Erkhart of Atlanta; 5 grandchildren: Celeste Erkhart, Cindy 
Elwood, Justin Flowers, Brent and Mallory Moreland; 1 great grandchild: Taylor 
Elwood; 2 sisters-in-law: Lena Edwards of Dalton, GA, and Mildred Davis of 
Sumter, SC; close friends: Cora Dasher, Betty Luke, Laura Kay Jones. 

The family will receive friends at Kimbrell-Stern Thursday from 6 PM to 8 PM.
