Robert Clyde Giddens

ALBANY — Robert Clyde Giddens, 88, of Albany, passed away Wednesday, December 
18, 2002, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hall & Hall Chapel with 
interment in Riverside Cemetery. The Rev. Eron White will officiate.

Mr. Giddens was born in Nashville, GA, and had lived in Albany for the past 43 
years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Willie Mae Giddens; a son, Jimmy 
Giddens; and a daughter, Gail Giddens Dalton.

Survivors include his present wife, Ruby Giddens of Albany; sons, Donald 
Giddens of Leesburg, Elroy Giddens of Los Angeles, CA, and Jackie Giddens of 
Albany; daughters, Dorothy Bryant of Leary, Jane O'Neal of Dawson, Margie Mason 
of Birmingham, AL, and Sandy Christmas of Centerville, TN; sisters, Janette 
McSwain of Tifton, and Hattie Burguss of Ocilla; 10 grandchildren and a number 
of great-grandchildren.

The family is receiving friends at the home of Donald Giddens in Leesburg and 
will be receiving friends at Hall & Hall Funeral Home today from 6 p.m.-8 p.m.
