The funeral service will be held at the graveside Cedar Hill Cemetery on Saturday at 2 p.m.with the Rev. Charles Jones offi- ciating. Mrs. Giles was a native of Webster County, born December 16, 1922, daughter of the late John Ezkiel Slocumb and Alma Lee Dismuke Slocumb. She had been a resident of Dawson and Terrell County for the past 75 years, she was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Dawson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Luther E. Lash Sr. and Paul H. Giles Sr. Survivors include a daughter, Joyce Pickard and her husband, Todd of Dawson; four sons,Luther E. Lash Jr. and wife, Margaret of Valdosta, Jackie E. Lash and wife, Judy of Blakely, Sonny S. Lash and wife, Sheila of Leesburg and Paul H. Giles Jr. and wife, Marilee of Gastonia, NC; two sisters, Lois Puckett of Cuthbert and Vera Stokes of Bronwood; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
