Kimbrell Stern Obituaries
Mr. John J. Glass, Jr.,  Leary Rd, died Thursday, September 13, 2007 at his 
residence. His funeral service will be Monday 11 AM at Kimbrell-Stern with 
interment in Crown Hill Cemetery. Rev. Bob Prince and Rev Earl Dean McCorvey 
officiating. 

A native of Randolph County, Mr. Glass had lived in Albany for a number of 
years and was retired from the Department of Labor. He was a member of Raleigh 
White Baptist Church, Masonic Lodge 591 and the American Legion where he served 
as Commander. He served in the National Guard for 3 years before enlisting in 
the U. S. Navy serving for 4 years. 

He was preceded in death by his parents John and Ruth Glass. Survivors include 
his wife Faye Turner Glass, Albany; son, Jim Glass and his wife Kim of Lee 
County; daughter, Renee Lasseter and her husband Mark of Lee County; 
grandchildren, Ben Glass, Meredyth Glass, Blake Lasseter and Kendall Lasseter; 
brother, Floyd Glass, Albany; sisters, Linda Link, Ellenwood, Myrtice Scaroni, 
Titusville, FL and Eunice Hall, Coleman. 

The family will receive friends Sunday from 3 to 5 PM at Kimbrell-Stern. Those 
desiring please make memorials to Albany Community Hospice, P O Box 1828, 
Albany, GA 31702.
