Willie Lee Grant-Sutton

ALBANY — Willie Lee Grant-Sutton, 87, of W. 1st Ave., died Wednesday, January 
1, 2003 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held Monday, 1 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church, with 
burial in Floral Memory Garden Cemetery. The Rev. H.B. Johnson Jr. officiating.

Born on August 5, 1915 in Dougherty County, Mrs. Sutton was a homemaker and 
attended Dougherty County Public Schools. She was a member of Friendship 
Baptist Church.

Survivors include four daughters, Blanch Bronstroph of Long Island City, NY, 
Cena Walker and Connie Burke, both of Albany and Annette Sutton of East Orange, 
NJ; one brother, Roosevelt Grant of Chicago, IL; and 15 grandchildren and 21 
great-grandchildren.

The remains of Mrs. Sutton will lie-in-state at the church on Monday from noon 
until the funeral hour.
