Nell Crapps Gwynn

FORT GAINES — Nell Crapps Gwynn, 89, of Fort Gaines, died Thursday, January 30, 
2003 at the Fort Gaines Nursing Home. The graveside funeral service will be 
conducted Monday at 2 p.m. in New Park Cemetery in Fort Gaines. The Rev. Jack 
Taylor and Dr. Roger Brannan will officiate.

Mrs. Gwynn was born September 1, 1913 in Clay County, daughter of the late John 
I and Clyde Weaver Crapps. She attended GSCW, was a bookkeeper at the U.S. 
Naval Base at Norfolk, VA, and was a member of the Fort Gaines United Methodist 
Church. Mrs. Gwynn was the widow of Robert Carlton Gwynn.

Survivors include a number of nieces and nephews, cousins and a wide group of 
friends.
