Obituary  -  John Wesley Pye Jr.  Craftsman
  John Wesley Pye Jr., 68, of Albany died Tuesday at HCH Palmyra Medical 
Centers.
  The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Thundering Springs Cemetery in Lee 
County.  The Rev. Bob Hughes will officiate.
 A native of Lee County, Mr. Pye was a lifelong resident of Lee and Dougherty 
counties.  He was retired from Olin Craft Industries and was a member of 
Thundering Springs Baptist Church.
  Survivors include three sisters, Ellen P. Pitts and Mary P. Gralley both of 
Albany, and Frances Gaumer of Allentown, Pa.
  The family is at the residence of Ellen P. Pitts, 1707 Parker Ave.  Kimbrell-
Stern Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.
