Obituary  -  Eska Davidson Akridge
  Camilla  -  Eska Akridge, 96, of 214 Watt St., Camilla, died Friday, July 27, 
2001 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany,
  Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. today (Sunday) at Parker-Bramblett Funeral 
Home with burial in Mount Zion Cemetery.  The Rev. Neal Hagar will officiate.
  Born September 26, 1904 in Mitchell County.  Mrs Akridge was a homemaker and 
member of the First Baptist Church in Camilla.  She was married to the late 
Bill Akridge and was the daughter of the late Judson and Dorothy Taylor 
Davidson.
  Survivors include three sisters, Era D. Curles of Camilla, Lucille White 
Bishop of Camilla and Luvoise White Levine of Sun City, Fla., and a number of 
nieces and  nephews.
  Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Frieda Warren, 5441 
Hwy 262, Pelham Ga. 31779 or the American Heart Association, 1512 Gillionville 
Road, Albany, Ga. 31737.
  The family may be contacted at the home of Mrs. Era Curles, Camilla..
