The funeral will be at 6 p.m. today at his residence, with cremation to follow. The Rev. Dorsia A. Atkinson Jr. and the Rev. Eurl E. Hand will officiate. A native of Soperton, Mr. Hadden was born August 24, 1936. He had lived in Worth County since 1980 and was formerly employed with Worth County Public Works Department as a heavy equipment operator. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and had served in the Air Force. He was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his wife, Jamie L. Hadden of Sylvester; three sons, James A. Wininger, Robert L. Wininger, and Tommy D. Wininger, all of Sylvester; four daughters, Debi Checketts, Jennifer Hadden Childs, Tanya Paramore and Nikki D. Wininger, all of Sylvester; 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The remains will be at the residence where the family will receive friends.
