James Alexander Hampton

ALBANY — James Alexander Hampton, 62, .of 2113 Techwood Dr. in Albany died July 
21, 2006 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 11A.M., Friday, at Mt. Zion Baptist
Church with interment to'follow in Floral Memory Gardens,Dr.Daniel Simmons to 
officiate.

Mr. Hampton was born May 6,1944 in Dougherty County. He graduated from the 
Doughtery County School System and was retired from the military.
   
Survivors include wife, Linda Hampton; four children, Delrick Hampton and Nyase 
Hampton of Ft.  Meade,  MD,  Dr.-  Kenika Hampton of Waldorf, MD and Ugandi 
(Amber)of Lawton, OK.; two  brothers,  Ben  (Rubye) Hampton of Albany and 
Rudolph Hampton of Stubenville, OH; nine grandchildren; two god-children,
Lennis IV and Tralen Price of Leesburg, ga. mother-in-law, Christine Grant of 
Albany and many- nieces,nephews,cousins, other relatives and friends.
