Inez Ragan Hardage

     DAWSON — Inez Ragan Hardage, 89, died on Sunday, January    1,    2006    
in Lawrenceville, GA; The funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11  a.m. 
at Harvey Funeral Chapel, with interment in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Hardage was born in Dawson, January  18,  1916,daughter of the late Connie 
M.and Claude Coleman Ragan. She was retired from Coat's and Clark in Albany, 
and later worked for  many  years  at  Belk's  in Dawson.

A lifetime resident of Dawson, she was a member of the First Baptist Church of 
Dawson, where she sang in the Jubilee Choir and often played the piano before 
services. She was a talented piano player, who never had a formal lesson, but 
instead had a special gift from God for music. Additionally, Mrs. Hardage was
an accomplished seamstress and  often  made or altered clothes for local 
residents, but mostly sewed for her daughters.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael 
William "Duck" Hardage.Survivors include two daughters, Joyce Hardage Dussault 
of Dacula,  and  Gayle  Hardage Henningfeld and son-in-law, Dan Henningfeld of 
Cordele; a sister,Hilda Engram of Montgomery, AL, formerly of Dawson; seven 
grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; and a special sister in love,Dorothy 
Kidd of Tallahassee, FL. Mrs. Hardage will be greatly  missed by her loving 
family who all  know  she  has  found  better home in Heaven with Jesus Christ, 
her Lord and Savior.

Visitation will be Wednesday, 6p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
