Bettye B. Harris

ALBANY — The graveside funeral service of Bettye B. Harris, 75, of 223 Third 
Avenue, Albany, GA, who died Monday, December 2, 2002, will be conducted 
Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Jesup City Cemetery in Jesup, GA.

A native of Wayne County, GA, Mrs. Harris had resided in Albany from 1952 to 
1974, moving to Waycross in 1974, and living there until 2001, and then 
returning to Albany until her death. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist 
faith.

Survivors include two sons, Jeff Harris of Albany, GA, and Mel Harris of 
Mobile, AL; a brother, Charles Beaver of Jesup, GA, and a half-brother, Dan 
Tummings of Etowah, TN; two granddaughters, Ivy Harris and Savannah Harris.

The family is at the residence of Jeff and Sharon Harris, 5807 Old Dawson Road, 
Albany, GA, and will receive friends from 6 p.m.- 8 p.m. today at Mathews 
Funeral Home.
