The funeral service will be held Monday Aug 20, 2007 11:00AM at St. Teresa’s Catholic Church with interment to follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. Rev. Finbarr Stanton will officiate. A native of New York City, she lived in Acworth, GA since 1999. Mrs. Henze was a dedicated Teacher of Kindergarten children. She was a former member of St. Teresa’s Catholic Church. A loving mother and loyal wife. “Catherine-Pat” to all who knew her had a lifelong commitment to discovery and learning. In teaching she shared this joy with her students and student teachers, as she had done with her own children. God and family were the focus of her life and her journey of spiritual growth continued until her final moments here on earth. She was thrice recognized as teacher of the year in the State of South Carolina where she worked and continued post-graduate studies until moving to Albany, GA to be nearer to her parents in their final years. Pat achieved her dream of leaving this earth a better place for her having lived and has touched the lives of thousands, may of whom and living her example. She is survived by a daughter Kathleen H. Westover and her husband (William) of Acworth, GA; 2 sons David Henze and wife (Roxann) of Leesburg; Michael William Henze and his wife (Jeanne) of Poolesville, MD; a sister Maureen Greenslade and her husband (Francis) of Albany, GA; 2 brothers Vincent Maguire and wife (Delores) of Elmwood, Park NJ; and Michael T. Maquire of Tolano, IL and a niece Rebecca; 9 grandchildren and 2 great-granchildren. A rosary service will be held Sunday 6:00PM with visitation to follow until 7:30PM.
