The funeral will be held today at Ballard Family Mortuary, Kahului, HI. A native of Ann Arbor, Michigan, Mr. Herzog was stationed at Darr Aereo Tech during World War II. He was graduate of the Clearly College in Ypsilanti, Michigan, and retired as an accountant with Lockheed Company in California. He returned to Albany in 1981 and lived here until 2000. He was a member of the Kihei Baptist Chapel. While in Albany he was a member and volunteer of Sherwood Baptist Church. He also volunteered at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital and coached Little League baseball. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Newell Herzog and a daughter, Patricia Herzog Ward both of Kehei, HI; a son, Keith and wife Jane Herzog of San Jose, CA; a daughter, Betty Herzog of Hilo, HI, nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
