James Robert Hillhouse

RICHLAND — James Robert Hillhouse, 82, of Walker St., Richland, died Monday, 
January 6, 2003, at his residence.

The graveside funeral will be at 11 a.m. today in Evergreen Memorial Gardens in 
Columbus.

A native of Canton, Mr. Hillhouse was born December 30, 1920. He was a hard 
worker, a devoted husband and father. Mr. Hillhouse retired as a pest control 
exterminator working for Orkin Pest Control for 20 years and with Horne's Pest 
Control for 19 years. He was married to Virginia Lee Saines Hillhouse for 61 
years. She preceded him in death May 9, 2002. He was the son of the late Esther 
Mae Millins Hillhouse and James O. Hillhouse. Mr. Hillhouse was an Army veteran 
of World War II.

Survivors include a son, Jerry (Zelda) Hillhouse of Leesburg; daughter, Bobbie 
Jean (Wayne) Herran of Olathe, Kansas; sister, Joan Allen of Maryland; six 
grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
