The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 7, 2006, at Union Missionary Baptist Church with burial in Riverside Cemetery. The Rev. J.A. Severson will officiate. Mrs. Hines was born on December 27, 2006, to the late Deacon William J. and Maggie Poston Corbett in Albany. She was a cook at Turner Field Army Base for approximately ten years. She also worked as a Presser for about fifty years for Bill Buntin Cleaners and worked an additional eight years at McCulloughs and Six Point Dry Cleaners. Aunt Rose was united in holy matrimony to Willie Hines of Tampa, FL, on December 10, 1943. She assisted in rearing of one niece, Cheryl (Earnest) Henley; two nephews, Jordan C. (Peggy) Corbett and Anthony (Julie) Thomas. Other family left, three nieces, Betty C. Thomas, Maggie C. Evans and Doris C. (Lon) Carey; three nephews, Willie B. (Carlene) Corbett Jr., William J. Corbett III and Jordan C. (Peggy) Corbett.
