Edith Gail Youngblood Hooks

DAWSON — Edith Gail Youngblood Hooks, 43, of Dawson died on July 30, 2006, at 
Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. at Wednesday, August 2, 2006, in the 
Chapel of Harvey Funeral Home with the Rev. Dick Gill officiating. Interment 
will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Hooks was a native of Alma, GA, in Bacon County, born April 17, 1963. She 
had lived in Terrell County for the past 19 years, moving here from Coffee 
County and was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Terry Hooks of Dawson; four sons, Carlis 
Youngblood and Carroll Thomas (Krisie), both of Alma, Jake Thomas (Heather) of 
Douglas and Terry Hooks Jr. of Dawson; a daughter, Angela Thomas of Dawson; 
mother, Carolyn Rigby Taylor (Mike) of Dawson; father, Emmett Youngblood (Joan) 
of Dawson; brothers, Dan Youngblood (Judy) of Dawson, Billy Youngblood of 
Nichols; sisters, Kim Y. Rogers of Douglas and Brandy Black of Dawson; 
grandparents, Earnie Dean Youngblood of Nichols and Myrtle Taylor of Sasser; 
father-in-law and mother-in-law, W.L. and Annette Hooks of Dawson; four 
grandchildren, Daniel Youngblood, Alexi Thomas, Chase Thomas and Madison Thomas 
and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by grandparents, Carlis Youngblood Sr., W.H. Rigby, 
Jessie Ray Rigby, and J.W. Taylor.

Visitation will be at Harvey Funeral Home, Tuesday, 7 to 9 p.m.
