The funeral service of Kathryn “Kathy” C. Houston, age 48, who died Monday July 
9, 2007 at her residence, will be conducted 10AM Thursday,  July 12, 2007 at 
Mathews Funeral Home. The Rev. Jason Jones will officiate. Interment will 
follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. 

A native of Seattle, WA, Kathy had lived in Leesburg since 1980, moving from 
Jacksonville, FL. She was a registered nurse graduating from Jacksonville 
University in 1980 and had been employed by Women’s Health Professionals here 
in Albany as an RN and an ultrasound sonographer for twenty two years. She was 
of the Baptist faith. 

She is survived by a daughter Laney Jones and her husband Jason of Sylvester, 
her mother, Shirley Cordray of Albany, her father, Gordon Dean Campbell of 
Greensboro, NC, a brother Gordon Bryan Campbell and his wife Pat of Cedarburg, 
WI, two nieces Trisha and Tina Campbell, and a nephew Chris Campbell all of 
Cedarburg, WI and a special friend Richard Spancake. 

The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Wednesday at 
Mathews Funeral Home. 

Memorials may be made to the Lupus Foundation of America, Georgia Chapter, 
Inc., 1800 Lake Park Drive, Suite 101, Smyrna, GA 30080.
