Colleen Houston

COLQUITT — Colleen Houston, 55, of Colquitt, died Friday, December 20, 2002 at 
Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany.

Funeral services will be held today (Sunday), 1 p.m. at Colquitt Funeral Home 
Chapel, with burial following service at Flat Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. 
The Revs. Kent Barwick and David Grubbs officiating.

Born on July 4, 1947 in Miller County, Mrs. Houston was retired from the 
Decatur County Health Department and a member of Colquitt Assembly of God.

Survivors include her husband, Lynwood C. Houston of Colquitt; her father, 
Collie Bush of Punta Gorda, FL; three sisters, Dorothy Bedsole of Auburndale, 
FL, Margie Whitaker of Colquitt and Duane Byrd of Attapulgus; mother-in-law, 
Mildred Houston of Colquitt; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Stanley and 
Rachel Houston of Colquitt; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her mother, Beulah Bush; two sisters, Eva Jewel Bush and 
Mary Frances Bush.

Pallbearers are as follows: Buren Whitaker, Craig Donley, Chris Donley, J.D. 
Bush, Hoyt Sapp and Harold Bedsole.
