THOMASVILLE — Sara Bryan Houston of Thomasville died Friday, July 6, 2007, at 
Archbold Medical Center in Thomasville. 

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. today in Arlington Oak Grove Cemetery in 
Arlington, GA. Elder W.H. Phillips will officiate. 

Born June 18, 1924, in Early County to the late William Cullen Bryan and the 
late Tommie Roberts Bryan, Mrs. Houston was a mother and homemaker. She was a 
member of Shady Grove Primitive Baptist Church. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George 
Harry Houston on June 18, 1990, and a son, Robert Crocker “Buddy” Houston. 

Survivors include her son, Dr. G. Courtney Houston of Thomasville; daughter-in-
law, Theresa Williamson Houston of Thomasville; four grandchildren, Courtney 
Howell Houston, Jessica Leigh Houston, Christopher Scott Houston and Michael 
Wyatt Houston; sister, Audrey Fulford of Albany; brother, Hugh Bryan of 
Leesburg; many nieces and nephews. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The National Autism Society, 1330 
W. Schatz Lane, Nixa, MO 65714 or to Shady Grove Primitive Baptist Church, 
Route 2 Box 150, Leary, GA 39862.
