Perry Hudson Sr.

COLQUITT — Perry Hudson Sr., 81, of Leary died Sunday, September 24, 2006, at 
Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.

The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. today at Sheffield Funeral Chapel with 
interment in Live Oak Freewill Baptist Church cemetery. The Rev. Melvin Moody 
will officiate.

Active pallbearers will be Clay Hudson, Lane Hudson, Jason Lovering, Jesse 
Espinoza, Glen Sheffield Jr. and Bob Hemling.

Born April 2, 1925, in Baker County, Mr. Hudson was a retired farmer. He was WW 
II Army veteran and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife, Vivian Hudson of Leary; one son, Perry (Mary) 
Hudson Jr. of Leary; two daughters, Dianne (Randy) Haywood and Lyndia Lovering, 
both of Colquitt; one sister, Vera Hudson of Albany; six grandchildren, Clay, 
Lane, Amber, Jesse, Amanda and Jason; two great-grandchildren, Holden and Lily.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. today at Colquitt Funeral Home 
Chapel.
